Today, 91 per cent of IT hiring managers in the U.S. express some level of discrepancy between the skills employees possess and those the company needs, according to a recent analysis from CompTIA. This is an ongoing issue that has come about because of the fast and frequent changes occurring in the industry. Organisations require workers who are well versed in foundational concepts such as infrastructure, networking and the cloud, but also niche and emerging areas including responsive design, data visualization and cognitive computing.
